Jota and Firmino lead Liverpool's assault on Nottingham

Liverpool and Nottingham Forest have declared their starting rosters for their FA Cup quarter-final clash tonight.

Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Senegalese Sadio Mane were absent from the Liverpool squad, days before the two scheduled venues, in the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

Portuguese striker Diogo Jota will lead Liverpool's assault alongside Brazilian Roberto Firmino, and England youngster Harvey Elliott will stay ahead of them.

Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is out with a physical problem, and Joe Gomez is involved, while mentor Jurgen Klopp was keen to rest left-back Andy Robertson, to supplant Greek Kostas Tsimikas.

Here is the composition of the two groups for this match:

Liverpool: Alisson, Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Jota, Firmino.

Nottingham: Horvath, Spence, Figueiredo, Worrall, Colback, Davis, Zinkeringal, Johnson, Yates, Lawley, Garner.
